Kylie Jenner has once again turned heads by modeling her latest Khy clothing drop in a sporty ensemble on Friday.
At 26, Kylie showcased her newest collection wearing a plunging white shirt zipped halfway, flaunting her toned stomach, paired with a matching mini skirt. She chose a natural look, with minimal makeup and her dark, wavy hair flowing as she stood in a field, gazing off-camera.
She announced the upcoming release with a post captioned ‘KHY DROP 007: POPLIN coming 6/27. sign up for early access on Khy.com’. Fans poured in with positive comments like ‘Sooo good!!’ and ‘it’s the BEST EVER.’
Kylie’s passion for her brand, Khy, which she launched in November, is evident in every detail. She told Vogue, ‘I want people to know how completely involved I am in this. From original concept, to designing, or co-designing if we’re working with other designers, from picking fabrics, colors, I’ve been in every fit meeting. I am the creative director of the brand marketing.’
Kylie also emphasized her hands-on approach to social media, stating, ‘There’s not an Instagram post or video that hasn’t been personally edited by me. I do the creative for all my shoots. I’ve worked really hard on it, I’ve put my love into it, and I can’t wait for people to experience the clothes. It’s very personal.’
Fashion seems to be a natural extension for Kylie, who first made waves with her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics. ‘I think beauty and fashion go hand in hand,’ she shared. ‘For me, beauty can make or break a good fashion look. I’m always experimenting with my style and I’m always switching it up. That’s why it was important to us to make the drops really different.’
Reflecting on her journey, Kylie mentioned bringing her ‘King Kylie’ energy into the brand, a nod to the confidence she felt during her teenage years. ‘King Kylie for me was less about what I was wearing, and more about how I felt in that era,’ she said. ‘I just felt confident, free, and I didn’t care what anyone said. I think that there’s a lot of power in that—and I’m definitely channeling my King Kylie energy this year.’
Despite facing criticism over the years, Kylie remains resilient. In a candid moment with her sister Kendall on ‘The Kardashians,’ she opened up about the scrutiny she faces online. ‘It’s a miracle I still have confidence and can still look in the mirror and think I’m pretty,’ she admitted, adding that she’s ‘so numb’ to the constant criticism. Kendall echoed these sentiments, saying, ‘We’re dehumanized in our family. There are no rules with us. They don’t think we have any feelings.’
Kylie also touched on her experience with plastic surgery, revealing, ‘I went on a journey last year dissolving half of my lip filler.’ She expressed frustration over the ongoing conversations about her looks, stating, ‘I hate even having this conversation over and over and over again.’ Breaking down in tears, she reflected, ‘I hear nasty things about myself all the time. I think it’s just after 10 years of hearing about it, it just gets exhausting.’
Nevertheless, Kylie is determined not to let the negativity slow her down. ‘I cannot let the comments get me down,’ she said. ‘I’ve got s— to do.’ Despite the challenges, she remains confident, saying, ‘I think I’m really strong and I was put in this position for a reason. I do think of myself as a confident person… but I’m also human and there’s only so much someone can take.’
Kylie Jenner’s new Khy drop proves her dedication and passion for fashion, despite the challenges she faces. Her resilience and creativity continue to inspire her followers.
