Alabama Barker, daughter of famous drummer Travis Barker, faced a health scare after putting down her vape pen for good.

The 19-year-old reportedly experienced a severe anxiety attack and was hospitalised for nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

Having recently quit vaping, Alabama found herself in a tough spot health-wise. According to TMZ, she called 911 and was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles.

Medical professionals informed her that her body was reacting to the sudden absence of nicotine as she hadn’t gradually weaned off the vape pens she occasionally used.

The decision to quit, as she embarks on a budding rap career, came after advice from music industry experts. They warned that vaping could harm her vocal cords, an essential asset for any singer.

Interestingly, Alabama turned 19 the same day her stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian, hosted the famous Christmas Eve party. While she celebrated her birthday with bouquets and balloons, she was missing from Kourtney’s Instagram party photos.

Despite the hospital visit, Alabama debuted her first music video for her song “Vogue”, featuring Kourtney Kardashian, marking a new chapter in her music journey.

Quitting nicotine is a commendable step towards better health, even if it comes with challenges. Alabama’s experience highlights the struggles of withdrawal, but it is a move that supports her musical aspirations.
