Miley Cyrus’ mum, Tish, and sister, Brandi, recently stirred the pot on their podcast, sending cheeky barbs towards Miley’s ex-hubby, Liam Hemsworth.

Tish and Brandi set tongues wagging with some light-hearted banter about Australian men on their podcast ‘Sorry We’re Cyrus’. The topic came up as they poked fun at their own romantic pasts, with Tish married to Aussie actor Dominic Purcell and Brandi dating another Aussie, Matt South.

While dishing out their thoughts on men, Brandi boldly stated, ‘Men are trash,’ yet quickly added that there are ‘a couple of good ones out there,’ indicating she believes to have found one in Matt. Tish then remarked, ‘I’m not gonna rag on American men but Australian men are just different,’ leading to laughter from both.

With Brandi noting, ‘Not all of ’em,’ the laughter hinted at a subtle reference to Liam, without directly naming him. Their playful ribbing seemed directed at the famous Aussie actor, known for his rocky relationship with Miley.

Miley and Liam’s rollercoaster romance began after they met filming ‘The Last Song’ in 2010. Over nearly a decade, they had their ups and downs, breaking up and reconciling several times before marrying in a secret ceremony in 2018.

However, the marriage was short-lived, as Miley confessed on TikTok that by June 2019 she realised it was over, stating it stemmed from an urgent need to rebuild after personal trauma.

The family dynamics further unravelled as rumours spread about Tish’s relationship with Dominic Purcell initially involving her daughter Noah. Reports surfaced that Noah dated Dominic before Tish tied the knot with him in Malibu in 2023.

Speculation arose when Noah and her brother Braison did not attend Tish and Dominic’s wedding. Allegedly, Noah was initially seeing Dominic in a more casual relationship, dubbed ‘friends with benefits’.

As tensions brewed, the rumour mill buzzed with stories of Tish blocking Noah and Braison on social media, raising eyebrows about the family feud. Over time, the tension seemed to ease, with Noah visiting her mum in July, hinting at a possible reconciliation.

Meanwhile, Brandi’s relationship with Matt has stayed away from the limelight, with his social media indicating his time is split between Australia and the United States.

In the world of Cyrus, family ties and romantic entanglements seem as complex as ever, with playful jabs and rumours keeping fans engaged. Still, it’s this very intrigue that continues to captivate and entertain.
