Lindsay Hubbard, star of ‘Summer House’, is not holding back. She believes that Dorinda Medley, the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ alum, leaked her pregnancy to the producers of ‘The Traitors’, leading to Hubbard’s removal from the show.
“This was awful! Super disappointing and sad,” commented Lindsay Hubbard beneath an Instagram post by @tasteof_reality, discussing the rumors. The drama unfolded just before the filming of Season 3 of the Peacock competition series began. An anonymous tipster had hinted to gossip account Deuxmoi that a ‘bubbly Bravo star’ tried to keep a little secret but was exposed by another cast member. “Looks like one bubbly Bravo star’s attempt to deceive went flat faster than a class of day-old Prosecco,” the tipster shared.
The rumors pointed fingers towards Hubbard, Medley, and their ‘Summer House’ co-star Ciara Miller. The tipster claimed that Medley went ‘berserk’ when she learned about Hubbard’s pregnancy and immediately informed the producers. Consequently, Hubbard was dropped from the show and replaced by someone with whom she shared a home and a past relationship, sparking yet another layer of intrigue.
A source close to the production, however, denied these allegations, stating that there is ‘absolutely no truth’ to the tipster’s claims. Despite this, Hubbard recently confirmed her pregnancy on the Fourth of July. She couldn’t contain her excitement as she posted on Instagram, “Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!” She proudly displayed her positive pregnancy test, expressing her belief that “the universe has a bigger plan” and that she and her mystery boyfriend “are beyond excited to welcome [their] little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024.”
Hubbard has opened up about their relationship, revealing that they began dating in January. Her beau, a doctor who works in biotech investing, prefers to stay out of the limelight. She found out about the pregnancy only a few months into their romance but insists they are both thrilled. “It is a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think because he’s the right man because we are so bonded and connected and communicate very effectively with each other that it hasn’t felt like work,” she shared. “I’ve almost made terrible mistakes in my past because of a biological clock that we naturally as women have, and this is the one time where it just all feels so right.”
Lindsay Hubbard’s rollercoaster of emotions shows no signs of slowing down. From alleged betrayals to joyous announcements, her journey is nothing short of dramatic.
